No, there's a legal reason, not just a policy. Under India's DPDP Act, 2023, every person owns their own data, and no one, be it banks, colleges, or even the government, can access it without their consent. That's why getting a PAN, an Aadhaar, a college admission, a job offer, or a CIBIL score all require your consent first. Marriage verification isn't an exception, it's the same rule. So ask to verify together, the other person has given this same consent their whole life, and will likely be just as glad to build a solid, anxiety-free base with you.

Will our information be stored or leaked?

No. We pull your records from official sources, confirm they're accurate, build your certificate, then delete the raw data. Whatever's stored is encrypted and handled in full compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023, the same standards leading companies follow. We're not a database sitting on your information; once your certificate exists, the source data doesn't need to stay with us.

What exactly does the verification cover?

15+ checks, done individually for each person, covering identity (Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, passport), address history and physical verification, education (degree verification), employment (employer, ITR, EPFO), financial (CIBIL, past and active loans), criminal and court records (including eFIR), social media presence, and, where applicable, business (Udyam registration) and medical council registration. All from official sources, nothing self-reported, nothing editable.

What does it cost?

Three plans, same 15+ checks per person, differing by who's covered: Parichay at ₹9,999 for just you, Vishwas at ₹19,999 for bride and groom verifying together (our most popular plan), and Bandhan at ₹39,999 for bride, groom, and one parent from each side. Everyone verifies on their own dashboard, with their own consent, and certificates are shared with each other once done.

Is this refundable if I change my mind?

Accepted Answer

No, since verification work begins the moment you consent and pulls real records from official sources, payments aren't refundable. This is also exactly why the free “check what exists” step comes first, so you know what you're getting before you pay for the certificate.
