Refund Policy

Summary: Verification is a service — once checks are initiated, the fee is non-refundable. Refunds are issued only for platform failures or duplicate charges. All eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
When you are eligible for a refund
- Verification could not be completed due to a technical failure on our end.
- Government APIs returned an error and the check could not be retried successfully.
- You were charged twice for the same order (duplicate payment).
- You cancelled your order within 2 hours of payment, before any checks were initiated.
When you are not eligible for a refund
- Verification was completed and a certificate was issued — regardless of the result.
- You are dissatisfied with the outcome (e.g. a check returned 'Declared' instead of 'Verified').
- You provided incorrect information during the verification flow.
- Cancellation requested after verification checks have already been initiated.
- Upgrade orders where the original tier's certificate has already been issued.
How to request a refund

Email us at support@milnesepehle.in with your Order ID and the reason for the refund request.

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and investigate the claim.

If eligible, the refund is initiated to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Bank processing time may add 2–5 additional business days depending on your bank.
Partial refunds
For L3 orders where physical verification has not yet been conducted but digital checks have been completed, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion, proportional to the uninitiated work. This is evaluated case-by-case.
Upgrade orders
If you upgrade from L1 to L2 or L2 to L3, only the incremental amount is charged. The base tier certificate is already issued and that portion is non-refundable. Refunds on upgrade orders apply only to the delta amount paid.
Refund timeline
Eligible refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days of approval. Credit card refunds may take an additional 5–10 days to appear on your statement. UPI and net banking refunds are typically faster (1–3 business days).
